  • Drug discovery
  • Benefits: cell-permeable
Thalidomide binds to the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex formed between cereblon (CRBN), damaged DNA binding protein 1 (DDB1), and Cul4A inhibiting ligase activity. Inhibits TNF synthesis and FGF-induced angiogenesis. Thalidomide initiates its teratogenic effects by binding to CRBN and inhibiting the associated ubiquitin E3 ligase activity. Cell permeable.

Caution: Teratogenic
