Specifications
UBE2Z is a ubiquitin conjugating enzyme (E2) that appears to be a specific substrate for the Uba6 ubiquitin activating enzyme (E1). Little is known about the specific function of this E2, but it has been implicated as a proapoptotic enzyme. The protein has been cited to exist as alternate splice variants, a 354 amino acid form and a 181 amino acid form (isoform 2). LifeSensors currently offers the second isoform.
