Specifications

Increasingly, researchers are focusing on the role of poly-ubiquitin chains linked through K11. This post-translational modification has been linked to ERAD as a signal for proteasomal degradation. K11-linked chains appear to play an important role in cell cycle signaling, as they are associated with the anaphase promoting complex (APC). These tri-ubiquitin chains are generated from the enzymatic linkage of wild-type ubiquitin through lysine 11 and purified to >95% homogenity by ion exchange chromatography.
