USP30 is a deubiquitinase involved in the
regulation of mitophagy. It is attached
to the outer mitochondrial membrane by insertion of a transmembrane domain
(36-56). It removes ubiquitin from
target proteins ubiquitylated by the E3 Ligase Parkin (PARK2).
This product has been engineered such that it is more
stable and retains the cleavage preference for K6-linked ubiquitin chains over
other chains1. USP30 shows reduced efficiency to cleave
phosphorylated ubiquitin chains.
