LifeSensors’ highly active and specific SUMOstar Protease 1 recognizes the tertiary structure of the SUMOstar tag, generating the desired N-terminus and never cleaving within your protein of interest. In addition the SUMOstar system makes purifying your protein affordable and straightforward. By linking a His6 epitope to both the SUMOstar fusion tag and SUMOstar Protease 1, the SUMOstar system allows efficient and rapid purification of untagged protein using immobilized metal affinity chromatography.
