Enterokinase is a serine protease with specificity for cleavage after the lysine residue in the sequence Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys.  LifeSensors enterokinase catalytic domain (residues 785-1019; Accession number P98073) is produced in E. coli, purified, and refolded for use as a counter screen with the UBL-CHOP2 assay suite.
