Specifications
OTUB1 (Otubain 1) is a member of the OTU (ovarian tumor) class of ubiquitin isopeptidases. It was originally identified as a protein capable of binding ubiquitin aldehyde. OTUB1 was shown to cleave K48-linked polyubiquitin chains in vitro. OTUB1 is involved in T cell function and is a substrate for Yersinia protein kinase.
