Applications

  • This enzyme is active in the Ub-CHOP Assay.
USP7 (HAUSP) was originally identified by its binding activity to a herpes viral protein, ICPO. USP7 plays a key role in regulating the ubiquitination and the stability of the RING-finger E3 ligase Mdm2 (and its human homolog Hdm2). Additional targets of USP7 have been identified including the forkhead transcription factor, FOXO44.
