USP33 (VDU1) was originally identified as a protein that interacts with the E3 ubiquitin ligase pVHL.  It is involved in various processes such as centrosome duplication, cellular migration and beta-2 adrenergic receptor/ADRB2 recycling. The USP33 catalytic core spans amino acids 181-712.
