Applications

  • This enzyme cleaves K63-linked ubiquitin chains in vitro
AMSH (Associated Molecule with the SH3-domain of STAM, STAM Binding Protein) is a JAMM domain-containing protein that functions as a deubiquitinase in vitro. AMSH mediates the cleavage of K63-linked ubiquitin chains. This cleavage is enhanced in the presence of its binding partner STAM. AMSH plays a role in the regulation of the endosomal sorting of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR).
