Specifications

UBE2D1 is a 147 amino acid (16.6 kD) protein that mediates the degradation of abnormal proteins or proteins with short half-lives. It is a component of a Ubiquitin ligase complex including UBE2D1, SIAH1, CACYBP/SIP, SKP1, APC, and TBL1X. It also functions in E6AP-mediated ubiquitylation of p53/TP53. UBE2D1 has been shown to interact with BARD1, UBE3A, and BRCA1.
