USP8 (Ubiquitin Specific Protease 8) is a deubiquitinase that converts both K48- and K63-linked ubiquitin chains. USP8 was shown to play a critical role in the stability of receptor tyrosine kinases. The USP8core contains only the core domain of the USP8 protein.
