Limited Use Label License
This product and/or its derivatives are subject to one or more U.S. and foreign Patents (for a complete list, please click here. By purchasing the product, the purchaser agrees to comply with the terms of this Limited Use Label License. The product is provided to purchaser for research use only. Purchaser may not transfer or otherwise sell this product or its derivatives to a third party without the express written permission of LifeSensors, Inc. No rights are given to the purchaser to use the product or its derivatives for commercial use or purposes as defined below.
“Commercial Use” shall mean, but not be limited to: (a) providing a service, information, or data to a person or entity not party to this Agreement for financial gain; (b) production or manufacture of products for general sale or products for use in the manufacture of products ultimately intended for general sale; (c) use in the development of products for sale to third parties; (d) use of the product for therapeutic, diagnostic, or prophylactic purposes; or (e) use in connection with proficiency testing service(s), including but not limited to, calibrations or tests on the same or similar items or materials in accordance with predetermined conditions.
Product use must comply with all laws and regulations, including but not limited to current EPA, FDA, USDA, and NIH guidelines.
MATERIALS MAY NOT BE USED IN HUMANS.
Purchaser acknowledges that the product is experimental in nature and provided WITHOUT WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. LIFESENSORS, INC. MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT THE USE OF THE PRODUCT WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT OR OTHER PROPRIETARY RIGHTS.
In no event shall LifeSensors, Inc. be liable for any use of the product by purchaser. Purchaser agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LifeSensors, Inc. its officers, employees, and agents from any loss, claim, injury, damage, expense, or liability (including attorney’s fees), of whatsoever kind or nature, which may arise from or in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to purchases, use, handling or storage of the product.

Our intellectual assets provide methods and tools for discovery of ubiquitin pathway system (UPS) enzyme functions and modulating molecules. In addition, our small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO)-fusion protein expression technology enables the efficient production and purification of high quality, correctly folded proteins useful in all applications of protein preparation and drug discovery.
Our product lines (SUMOpro, SUMOpro3, SUMOstar) exploit the properties of SUMO for protein expression products. Other products feature or enable UPS specific enzyme activity assays such as the Internally Quenched Fluorescence diubiquitin (IQF-diUb) and CHOP-reporter assays, in addition to other reagents.
Our patent portfolio includes issued and allowed U.S. Patents as well as grants in Australia, Europe, Canada, China and other territories. We have licensed seven of its patent families to Progenra, Inc. non-exclusively for research and discovery efforts. Non-exclusive licenses are available for both research and commercial use of proprietary ubiquitin protein expression systems and ubiquitin pathway system discovery tools.
