Product Description

SUMOstar -MetGFP is a recombinant fusion protein that contains a modified yeast SUMO (Smt3) protein -- SUMOstar -- fused to GFP with an N-terminal Met residue. SUMOstar-MetGFP is used as a control substrate for SUMOstar Protease 1 activity. 

Please note that following SUMOstar Protease cleavage, SUMOstar migrates with an apparent MW of 18 kDa on SDS-PAGE, while full length SUMOstar-MetGFP migrates at 48 kDa.

Storage/Stability

Store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Stable for up to one year under these conditions. For long-term use, store at -80°C.
