Product Description

In eukaryotes, endogenous SUMO proteases rapidly cleave SUMO fusions in vivo, precluding tag-enhanced expression and purification capacities. To circumvent this problem, the SUMOstar fusion tag and novel protease were engineered. LifeSensors SUMOstar Insect Cell Expression System offers the combined advantages of enhanced expression with SUMO fusion technolgy and the post-translational modification potential of Insect cells.  Fusion to SUMOstar allows the highest level of expression, and specific cleavage to yield native protein with desired N-termini.

Storage/Stability
